This November, join for a beachy & joyful weekend in Shoreham, the untouched gem on the eastern shoreline of the Mornington Peninsula. Our home for this getaway is the magnificent Atlas Retreat, just over an hour from Melbourne where the bush meets the sea. Atlas Retreat is a stylish & modern home only a 2 minute walk from the secluded Shoreham Beach. It features five luxurious bedrooms (each with their own ensuite), a spacious yoga room, an open space kitchen, a shared living & dining area, and an outdoor cabana house with a gym, hot tub & pool.
Our mornings will start with feel-good flows, warm cuppas & a full breakfast spread. During the day, you’ll have plenty of time sunbathe by the pool or beach, explore the peninsula’s surf coast, or visit one of the world-class wineries at our doorstep. Evenings will be spent around the table together swapping stories, tasting regional flavours & pouring local wine.
On Saturday, beloved Melbourne ceramicist, Alicia McVilly will guide us through a Canapés, Chianti & Clay workshop. Each guest will learn handbuilding skills from Alicia and create pieces that will be fired, glazed & delivered post Mat & Table.
On Sunday, Chinese Medicine practitioner Courtney Fisher will guide us through a workshop on how we can incorporate Gua Sha tools at home for moments of self care & releasing tension. You’ve undoubtedly seen the Gua Sha tool before- sleek, smooth, and often created from gemstones. While it’s a cute tool- it’s actually quite effective and used often by Chinese medicine practitioners to help relieve muscular tension (reminder to unclench your jaw right now). It’s perfect for those with tight muscles, sluggish circulation, and tech necks.
Your private chef for the weekend is Melbourne hospitality legend & menu curator, Tori Bicknell! Tori has been passionately creating delicious meals for most of her life. Cooking for beloved Melbourne hotspots such as The Stokehouse, Townmouse, & Stagger Lees before becoming a co-owner/Head Chef at Rustica Sourdough & then Executive Chef at St Ali. She has also studied nutritional medicine & is passionate about healthy, nutritious & delicious meals that nourish the soul.
A full itinerary will be released as the date nears. This location has a capacity of 10 people, so we recommend booking earlier rather than later.
Just bring your mat- we’ll set the table!
